So many people spend their lives running from God. They fear that because they have so many sins that they couldn't possibly be made right before God. No matter where they go and no matter how long it takes he will be there. When I fear that I have done something displeasing to my heavenly Father, I ask for his forgiveness and spend some time in prayer. When I don't know what I should do, I know that by spending some time in prayer, I will be given the right answer. The one who knows all and sees all is always right and will never waiver. I try to make sure not to forget to give him credit where it's due. People tend to pray when they need something, they have a problem, they are afraid or sad, or are angry with God. When I pray, I try not to always ask ask ask, but give praise and thanks to the one who gives use what we have and takes away all things unwanted. "Forget not what he has taken away and what he has given and be thankful always". Next time you pray spend some time thinking about those things that he has already done for you and for others around you. This also helps when you are talking to somebody and they want to know how God has affected your life. I have found that the more personal to me the discussion is the easier it is to answer questions.

Inspiration
I wake up everyday a lonely and empty man. I go to sleep at night filled with the love of Christ. He inspires me to be creative. For all things done through Christ and for Christ are blessings and all things done for myself is selfish. If I do not do things for the one whom gave me breath, than what purpose do my actions serve. The ultimate goal is to make it to heaven where some day I will look up and see my heavenly father face to face and he will reach down and pick me up and say those long awaited words "Well done my good and faithful servant". We live our lives not for ourselves, but for the one who made us in his image. Next time I wonder why I am here and what my purpose is I will surely know the answer, will you?

to him who gives me strength
I am so grateful to know I have a savior. On my own, I am not strong enough to fight the sins of man and the temptations set before me. All things are possible through Christ who gives me strength. I walk along a lonely street in this dark and dreary world only being able to see what is around the corner because he is my guiding light. He protects me from the things of man and exposes me to the things of righteousness. For by God's grace I have been save and made righteous before him. No one shall threaten the heavenly fortress of God for all men shall fear what they can't possibly understand. The magnitude of God's strength and power cannot be measured. For as far as the east is from the west and as strong as an oxen he shall be compared, but not even this could measure a fraction of his greatness.
